Starting with volume 55, 2019, Eirene. Studia Graeca et Latina will allow some of its contents to be published in an Open Access (OA) mode, under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). At the same time, the Journal will continue to be published in classical print form. The OA option will be available to a maximum of one third of the research articles published in each volume of the Journal. Should the demand of authors be higher, they will be invited to publish their OA papers in the next volume of the Journal.

The publication in an OA mode is liable to a publication fee of 400 EUR, inclusive of VAT, payable upon the official acceptance of the article for publication. All other details are to be found in the licence agreement between the Journal and the author and/or his/her institution, which must be signed prior to the publication.

While the authors of OA articles are free to share and distribute their papers under the conditions specified in the agreement, all OA articles will also be made available on this web page of the Journal in .pdf format.
